Australian designed, Australian made & from 100% Australian recycled plastic
Sustainable Plastics
On average, Australian’s use 130kg of plastic per person each year and only 9% is recycled. 130,000 tons of plastic will find its way into our waterways and ocean, endangering our marine wildlife.
At Ecogrip we’re committed to minimising environmental impacts, by aiming at eliminating waste and introducing smarter packaging.
With the significant increase in single-use plastic over the past 20 years, our mission is to help close the recycling loop by avoiding virgin material and reducing Australia’s reliance on importing recycled plastic products. Our aim is to increase the market life of post-consumer plastics through manufacturing only 100% Australian recycled plastic.
Sustainable Manufacturing
At Ecogrip we aim to reduce our environmental impact, not only in the products we produce, but also in the way we produce them. We believe sustainability is central to our future as a business and it plays a part in every decision we make.
In order for us to live up to this commitment 50% of the power used at our facility is sourced from a renewable energy solar farm, helping to decrease our carbon footprint. We will continue to invest in new technologies and processes to build upon our sustainable manufacturing commitments.
Supporting Local Enterprises
Australia is home to some of the best, most innovative, small enterprises in the world and as the founders of ecogrip come from a long line of entrepreneurial small business owners they understand the needs and requirements of local businesses.
With a plethora of small businesses catering to our ever-growing beverage market, our aim is to provide these wineries, breweries, distilleries and coffee roasters with a locally produced alternative for their packaging needs.
Supporting local has always been, and will always be, a central pillar of how we operate.
